Solar System Planets – Animation Video for kids – In this education video children can learn about Sun and its family of eight planets (Pluto,the earlier counted as ninth planet is no longer considered to be a planet because of its small size).

Planets of our solar system have been named after Roman or Greek gods.They keep rotating around the Sun in fixed paths called orbits.Different planets take different time in finishing one cycle around the sun depending upon their distance from the Sun hence size of their orbit.

Few planets are visible from the earth but most of them can be seen with the help of telescope. Human being are trying to reach these planets for further inquiry about these planets.Study of space is known as astronomy.
