Different types of maps like political maps,topographic maps,climate maps,physical maps,road maps etc.These specific maps show and focus on one specific area of information.These are also known as thematic maps as they emphasize on one particular theme in one map.

Children can also understand different types of maps and about the different lines on the maps in this video lesson.Map reading becomes easier for kids after taking this tutorial.
