Soil erosion video explains the process which removes top soil layers & carries them away from soil to water -bodies or other land. It results in the loss of valuable top soil and important nutrients that are necessary for crops to grow.There are 3 major kinds of erosion: erosion by wind,erosion by water and erosion by tillage.Plants,grasses and tress play an important role in preventing soil erosion and run-off.Soil conservation is very important to save our agriculture so that we keep getting enough food.

Soil erosion is a very slow process and goes relatively unnoticed.Top soil gets eroded slowly thus affecting the nutrients quantity in the soil which reduces the productivity.

In this video ,children will learn about the meaning of erosion, causes of soil erosion and the effects of soil erosion on the land.
